Natural Stone

Natural Walling Stone

One of the great traditional charms in UK construction lies in the use of local, natural stone as a construction material. At All Brick and Stone we supply a range of natural walling stone differing in texture, colour, shading and weathering. Beautiful tones mellow naturally over time to create a natural warmth to many idyllic country houses and architectural buildings.

Natural stone is quarried from the earth in all regions of the UK and then either sawn, split, dressed, tooled or tumbled to create the required finish. It has a thermal mass that naturally insulates, helping homeowners to save energy that would otherwise be required to heat or cool a house.

All Brick & Stone have a wealth of experience working closely with architects, contractors, developers and self-build clients alike supplying natural stone for restoration, conservation and newbuild projects. We source all of our stone products through a number of carefully selected, reliable and audited partners. Get in touch today to discuss how we can help you.

Natural Architectural Masonry Stone

The natural Oolitic limestone used to produce our architectural masonry is quarried from the earth and dates to the Jurassic period. This stone is more commonly known as Bath Stone and not only brings warmth and intrigue to buildings, it has been used in England to construct much of the City of Bath.

Stone is hand worked by a stone mason to produce various architectural elements from crafted dressings to detailing which is recognised within architectural heritage. We provide a completely bespoke service and work to your design requirements, whether matching to existing architecture in your area or producing a unique, contemporary effect.

Natural stone is not only versatile and durable, it is unique and can set buildings apart from others due to its ever popular characterful appearance. It is a firm favourite for builds all over the country – there really is no substitute for the real thing! It is also environmentally friendly due to the lack of energy required in production, as well as providing a long term investment for homeowners.
