Radley College – New Boarding House

Supplying specialist materials for a new boarding house with a historic location

Located in historic parkland, a new 70 bed boarding house for Radley College Oxfordshire was commissioned. The specific site location demanded a sensitive yet high standard of design and specification reflecting the social, economic and cultural times in which the buildings are constructed.

All Brick and Stone were appointed to work in partnership with GBS Architects and Feltham Construction in order to advise and specify products sympathetic to the design and surrounding area. Our challenge was to work with the sensitivity of project and ensure that the material choices blended with the location. Our team were able to put forward a bespoke blend of brickwork that complimented the design and was laid in a flemish bond along with stone window surrounds and brick arches.

The project was completed in September 2020 and has undertaken a successful build. All Brick and Stone are proud to be part of a prestigious project, working alongside such a reputable contractor who was able to provide a workforce with the necessary experience to bring such a specialised project to completion. We have since continued to work in partnership on other schemes.
